Denice Karamardian

Welcome!
Denice Peter Karamardian thought of her paternal family as Syrian throughout her childhood. She was half correct. As a teen, she learned of her grandfather’s Armenian heritage and mysterious past which set her on a lifetime journey of discovery that would become the ODAR Trilogy.
She is retired from a rich tapestry of overlapping careers including voice instructor, radio host/producer, vocal and theater performance, columnist, reviewer, and innkeeper. She is also the founder and editor of the Finger Lakes Libations, a regional industry publication for wines, brews, spirits and cider.
Denice currently lives in her hometown of Ithaca, New York, near and with family.
She is developing several book projects, including a cultural memoir and a collection of short stories based on historical emigration from the British Isles to America’s heartland.
